The peace I came to bring is not a peace of compromise or conforming, but a peace that fills the spirit. You know the world doesn’t give you peace because it doesn’t have any to give. The world is always negotiating for peace or fighting for it, but there has never been ultimate peace. You may be worried about how things will turn out, you may feel so much anxiety because of how the world is going, there is chaos everywhere. You may try to maintain your relationships and create harmony but others may be making it difficult because they just don’t want to work on things. Broken and stressful relationships drain so much for you and you hardly feel any peace.  Put your focus on me, my child and let me give you peace. Trust in me and I will give you rest.

You may look into your situation and all the things you do not have and you can’t help feeling overwhelmed. You may wonder where to get your next meal, your children’s school fees, you may have arrears pending, and everyone you ask for help has similar complaints. It may stress you so much that you can barely sleep, instead you stay up all night trying to figure things out. No matter how you think, there is very little you can do if you are stuck. Beloved, do you believe that anything can be changed when I command it? Now, give me the problem and let me work on it. I keep in perfect peace the one whose mind stays on me because he trusts in me. I have peace stored for you in every situation if you choose to fully trust me. The world may lie to you that you will find peace when you have achieved all you want through hard work. That when you have enough money, the right job, friends, or a great spouse, then all the happiness and rest will find you.  My way is to draw you closer to me and offer you peace in the midst of the circumstances you are going through. I do not want you to wait until everything has worked out before you can have rest- I am offering it right now because life is the series of events you go through and not a goal to be achieved.
