When crossing a road, a red sign on the traffic lights signals danger hence one needs to stop for moving ahead is dangerous. Ignoring the red light and proceeding means that one has signed themselves up for an accident that may result in death and in which case they are liable.
My dearest child, like the red light traffic signal I am sending you a warning and a call for you to turn away from your evil ways. Cease to walk in the dark and embrace the light to avoid eternal condemnation. Being a loving father who does not like any of his children to perish, I have sent to you prophets to warn you to repent your sins before I destroy you. It bothers me too much when my children know of the outcomes of following the evil one and leading evil lives yet they do not depart from it. Even when I send people to show them the right direction and to call them to repentance, they choose to be like the careless pedestrians who choose to ignore the red light warning.
Why would a pedestrian ignore the red traffic light and continue to cross the road yet they know of the danger it poses? In the same manner, why would my children ignore my word and turn a deaf ear to my prophets yet they know of the consequences of those who do not leave their sinful lives behind and follow me? While it is true that my people perish for lack of knowledge, it is unfathomable how my people who are fully aware and with immense information about me choose ignorance over obedience.
Changing your ways
Dear child, a time comes in life when you have to change from your evil ways. As your father, I see the way you reject me and choose to thrive in evil. Whenever you are faced with problems, life pushes you to a point where you come back humbled seeking my assistance. Like the prodigal son, you are willing to come back as a servant in my kingdom because it dawns on you that my love for you is endless.
Beloved, do not wait until the turbulence of life comes knocking you down for you to come back to me. Like the traffic lights have different colors to notify the road users on the appropriate moment to use the road, I am sending you a warning to turn away from your evil ways and begin a new life in me. Do not be like a careless road user who ignores the traffic lights signal by ignoring my warning. Your time here on earth is running out and if you are not careful, it will catch up with you. Always be ready by ensuring that your thoughts are pure and your actions please me. Strive to please me for I am coming back soon and I will judge each one of you accordingly. Live well and strive to have your name written in the book of life and sealed by the blood of the lamb for in heaven there will be no sorrow but only eternal bliss.
