Today’s Devotional

"I am your judge; I am your lawgiver; I am your king; I will save you..."

I am the ultimate judge.

Often when you think of my judgment, you think of your sins and get scared because there are only two places you can end up in, you are either condemned to hell or to heaven.  Being in complete darkness of what your fate will be, scares you out of your wits. You tell yourself that you shall change your ways so that you may end up on the safe side.

My child, worry not if you are a believer. You are saved by the blood of Jesus Christ. I shall be fair on my judgment for I know what is inside you. I know you inside out and I will judge you in accordance with how I truly know you despite your sins. I created you and so I know it is in your human nature to sin, that is why I presented to you the gift of salvation on confession and repentance of your sins.

Unlike the earthly judges who may pass poor judgment as they may be biased and easily corrupted, I will be fair in my judgment to you. The earthly judges pass judgment by analyzing what has been presented as evidence and facts not on what they know or saw. This has had many innocent people convicted. Fear not for I am no mortal judge and shall pass judgment fairly for I see and know everything.

Dear one, embrace my salvation before it is too late for you to do so. Anytime you can come before me for judgment. Before you are presented to my court to be judged and receive eternal sentence, pray for every sinful thought and deed so that you may be forgiven and that may actually change the eternal sentence. I am a merciful God and for that reason, I gave up my own son so that you may be saved from evil, sin, and a tough judgment. embrace redemption and renewal by the blood of Jesus that you may spend all your eternity in heaven. I do not know of anyone who wishes to be condemned to the blazing fire of hell for all eternity. No one wishes for such a fate and neither do I want that for you. Therefore change your ways and embrace a life that honors me and disregards sin and evil.  walk in my light for you are a child of the light.

Beloved, not only will I make things right for you in the eternal and divine aspect of your life, but in your mortal life as well. Child, whenever you have been hurt or betrayed by others, turn to me, do not be vengeful. Whenever you feel that life is unfair and disappointing, turn to me and I will make things right for you for I am a just and merciful God.

Pray that I may always help you stay in my light guided by my righteousness, that I may forgive you of each and every single one of your evil thoughts and deeds. That I may comfort you in those times of need and that I may make things right for you.

Reflect On These Words Today:

“For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, so that each one of you may receive what is due for what he has done in the body, whether good or evil.”

(2 Corinthians 5:10)

“Then the Lord knows how to rescue the godly from trials, and to keep the unrighteous under punishment until the day of judgment.”

(2 Peter 2:9)
